A weekend in Barcelona

Barcelona is one of my favorite cities. That’s because it’s near the beach (you got that right!) and there’s so much too see. Planning a trip to BCN? Don’t skip the following things!

The cactus parc at Mont Juïc. This parc is so beautiful. What I love about cacti is that they look rough at first, but they can grow the most beautiful flowers.

La Sagrada Familia. Gaudí´s emblematic temple, very impressive to look at. If you would like to go inside, book your tickets online before you go.

The beach! Rent a bike and go down the boulevard that is filled with restaurants. Or take your towel and a book and lay down on the beach.

Telefèric de Montjuïc. A funicular that goes up to the Montjuïc (where you can find that cactus park I told you about). Watch out for pick pockets though.

Parc Guell, one of the major works of Gaudí in Barcelona. It used to be free, but nowadays you have to have a ticket to get close to the art work.

All the different kinds of restaurants, of course! From healthy surf food at the beach to typical Spanish tapas, in Barcelona you can find all kinds of food.
